SEW CRAFTY FRIDAY

I have completed a couple of projects this week, but wasn't patient enough to wait until Friday!!! I posted the red checked kitchen accessories I made for my daughter and the froggie diaper wipes and cloth baby book I made for my grandson earlier in the week.

But, I have been working diligently on a Wolf Wall Hanging quilt I posted about before here. This week I finished quilting the diagonal lines (even though they aren't exactly even), clipping all loose threads, made the binding and sewed it on.

SEWING ON THE BINDING

Did you ever start a project that seemed doomed from the beginning? This is just one more thing that happened! See how close I was to having enough binding. I only needed about 3 more inches! Oh well, I had more fabric and was able to fix this!

DAVE, THE DOG, WITH HIS NEW DOGGIE QUILT! (He hates to pose for a picture!)

so glad your quilt is finished.
I have had those doomed-from-the-start projects too and have even tossed a couple of them in the trash out of frustration.

Dave looks just about right on that quilt...he has the air of a wolf about him, LOL!
I'm like Rhonda...I have trashed things out of sheer frustration. Well, okay, I've put them into my scrap fabric bin. But life is too short to waste on doomed projects. I'm glad you found that little extra you needed to finish your quilt!

I know that it seems to often be the little things that hang me up and keep me from finishing a project. But those with the greatest frustration often feel the best when they are finally finished. Congratulations on finishing the quilt.

That turned out great. I really like it. I hope the dog appreciates all you do for him. LOL

Hello fellow Sew Crafty Friday poster.
What a lovely blanket. I have had more doomed projects than I care to admit, but such are the battle wounds of crafting, huh? Enjoyed reading your other posts.

Isn't that frustrating when you just run out of fabric? Great work on the quilt!

I'm amazed at all the sewing/crafting you get done in spite of working full-time! Thanks for sharing -- Blessings, Ruth
