My First Quilt Finish of 2011 - Farmhouse Magic

I really worked hard on this one! Here is a picture showing the borders, binding and how the back looks of "Farmhouse Magic"

I enjoyed Big Brother's assistance for the Free Motion Quilting.

I also enjoyed having a warm quilt to work under while watching basketball on Saturday and the Super Bowl on Sunday with my hubby. Its always a happy moment when I make that last stitch on the back of the quilt when sewing down the binding. I usually excitedly and loudly say, "I AM FINISHED", at which time my hubby cheers.

It's beautiful. I think I'd shout out if I finished a big project like that, too! You must work very diligently!
BTW, I love those cute little birdhouses in the back of the photo.

Your newly finished quilt is beautiful. It is nice to see you sewing by hand on your couch. I see little hand painted birdhouses over to the side. If those are for your flower garden they will look so fresh and pretty. I am looking for a different sewing machine. I might be able to get one just like yours. I'm excited to have one that is easy to use. Have a nice evening.

Debie~ Love the colors in the quilt, would love to make one for our bed but that is just a little too big for me (it's king size) maybe after I do a few small quilty things we will see.
