Handmade Dishcloths From Afar

My camera is being very finicky! Yesterday it was working so I'm finally able to post a picture of these dishcloths that Clare of Sort of Frugal sent to me. We both had give aways on our blogs, but neither won, so we decided to do a swap! I sent her a clothespin bag, since she just got a new clothesline and she sent me these nice handmade dishcloths. I haven't used them yet, because they are just too pretty to use, but I will soon!

Thanks Clare!

Those are so pretty! I would love to learn how to make them, but I'm hopeless without someone showing me.

Oh, my goodness, I'm going senile. I've been so busy with the USA trip thing that I missed your tag from a 2 weeks ago! I'm going to get on that right away!
And btw...I'm also going blind in my old age. Where is the link to your etsy shoppe?

The dishcloths are pretty. I'm sure Claire was tickled with her clothespin bag too! It's so nice to have blogging friends!

I have several handmade cotton dish cloths that I love. (my mother in law makes them) In fact, I bought two at a yard sale recently for a nickel each. I asked the lady if she made them and she said no. I told her how much I enjoy using them, and her reply was "I thought maybe they were too thin to use as pot holders." hee hee She had no idea what they were.
