Fleece Gifts

I had my very first experience with fleece over the weekend. The ECU fleece came from the remnant bin at Joann's 2 or 3 years ago. I kept wondering what I could make with it. It was a yard and a half which was too small for an adult sized throw. A little research on the internet and I found plenty of ideas. Here are 3 scarves. I am learning from my mistakes and having fun in the process.  That one on top is a boa!

Self Portrait.  Maybe cute for a young lady to wear to an ECU football game?

The fleece feels so luxurious.

A little decorative stitching.
Cutting the fringe

Still not too sure about the boa.... hubby was intrigued by it. Maybe in a leopard print? LOL

The fleece scarves look great and I like the boa. I'm sure some young lady would love it also. I love working with fleece. Last year I made several fleece hats for the homeless shelter.

They turned out really cute and I love the boa. Fleece is one of my favorite materials.

Fleece is the warmest, softest, cuddliest fabric out there, I think! I love the ECU scarf!

Such neat ideas!! I have made scarves from woven fabrics before on which I fringed the ends. And,
I have clipped the ends of some on fleece ones. That boa, however, is new to me. I bet I know a young lady who will love wearing it.

Happy gifting!!!!!!!!!!
