I found some cute wooden trays with rope handles on clearance at Family Christian Store for only $1.29. I forgot to take a picture of them, but they were on the clearance table from last Fall and have pumpkin pictures in the bottom. I could envision all kinds of ways to use them, so I bought 4. Here's how I am using one of them.
These inexpensive silk sunflowers are just laying in the box. I can reuse them in other flower arrangements later on.
By the way, my Hubby found my "Fall" box and I have put it in a place that I can start pulling things out of it gradually as Fall approaches.
Personal Notes:
Mama is much better! She is still in the hospital, but is now eating. She was given some medication that increases appetite and when I visited last night she had eaten a good part of the supper tray and had a Krispy Kreme doughnut in her hand that a family member had brought her. She is still having the very low blood pressure and many other problems, but definitely way better than she was a few days ago. Thanks so much for your prayers!

Your fall arrangement is so pretty and yes, I think I'm ready for fall, too! Glad to hear your mom is doing better... a KK doughnut can make a lot of things better. ;))
Glad to hear that your mom is doing better.
Love the flowers, I'm just not ready, mentally, for fall.....in my neck of the woods fall means winter is around the corner, LOL.
Good news!
And, your fall arrangement has implications of the time just around the corner. Where does the time go?
I so enjoy seeing what you are up to in home decor... lovely table arrangement!
Prayers continuing for your dear mother... so glad to hear she's improving!
Continued prayers for your Mom. LOVE the fall arrangement, the table runner also caught my eye!!! Can we see a photo of it as well?
We've had a "hot" summer, but not quite as hot as down south. I'm ready for fall, though, so I loved your little touch of fall. I like your table runner too! ;)
So glad your mom is doing better. I wouldn't mind a KK doughnut myself!
So very pretty Debbie. I am so ready for fall too.
