Planter Chairs!

Look what I found at the used furniture store today!

I had been wanting some brightly colored chairs to use as planter chairs. The condition of the chairs didn't really matter, because they would be outside in the weather and I would need to cut a hole in the seat for the flower pot to go anyway.

These are perfect.

The seats are already coming apart, so it will be easy to turn them into planters.

This old enamel ware dish pan that I usually fill with Impatiens will fit right down in the chair once the seat is removed.

A picture from last summer.

But it will need some vine like plants too, such as Sweet Potato Vine.

Its only the middle of March and already there are many weeds in the shade garden. I think one of the chair planters will look good here.

These are the style of chairs which were in the dining room at
the Marshburn Hotel at White Lake
in the olden days. Only difference was that the seats were wooden, instead of the rush or woven material.

They will make great planters. Can you come up and decorate our
yard?????????????????
