The Joys of Being Stocked Up

Having a well stocked pantry makes me happy. Its so nice to make a grocery list and realize you need very little. I check off in my mind.... sugar, no...coffee, no....flour, no...., rice or pasta, no... toilet paper, no....

Any time there is a god sale of toilet paper I pick up a couple. Last week Food Lion had Charmin Basic on sale and I picked one up. BUT, when I got home there was no toilet paper in my car. I checked the receipt and I paid for it, but it just didn't make it home with me.

On my next trip to the store, I asked the cashier what I should do about it and she said to just go get another pack, which I did.

The following Monday, one of my coworkers brought me a big pile of toilet paper that her family didn't like. I gladly accepted it.

Even toilet paper can be a blessing!

Definitely a blessing!!! LOL!!! It kills me to pay so much for toilet paper because the prices have gone up.

Hi Debbie,
I did a restock this week end too. I love having a well stocked pantry. Your TP pile looks like mine.
Have a wonderful week.

Okay, I laughed out loud when I saw the toilet paper that someone gave to you 'because their family didn't like it'. I would have told my family 'tuff... use it' and then purchased something different. LOL One year we went to a Christmas party with a bunch of folks we didn't know. (a hunting club) We had numbers to get gifts and my box was HUGE. Inside was a 12 pack of cheap toilet tissue. Of course, everyone laughed and laughed... and deep inside I was thinking "woo hoo.... free toilet paper!!!" It truly is a great feeling to be stocked up!

It is nice to keep basic supplies stocked up! I also do that with dish soap, bath soap, baking supplies, etc.

Oh, that's funny. Yes, I think even tp is a blessing as well. I get excited when I see great sales on Scott tp! I've got a huge stack of it in my garage pantry. I guess I'm not the only one!
