Ever notice how the heat doesn't really bother kids? This one is almost 4 years old. I can't believe how time flies.
Even though he is getting taller and lankier, he won't catch these Zinnias this year. Maybe next year, when he will almost be a kindergartner.
Let me tell you a little about this special guy. Even though there were other foods that I personally would have preferred, he ate watermelon, tomatoes, strawberries, boiled egg and a brownie, for lunch. He skipped the lasagna altogether! Generally when he eats a meal at my house, I know that I need to have some raw fruits and vegetables on hand, because that's what he will want.
Cool Breeze!

Mr. Cool Breeze keeps eating all those luscious veggies and fruit... and he will definitely be taller than the zinnias next year! What a cutie!
He's adorable. I'm with him on the fresh fruit and veggies.
He's a smart one. On days that are hot, I prefer to eat fruit and veggies too!
What a cute little guy.....those sun glasses. :) Zinnias, just love to cut and bring in a few. My aunt will even take a very small vase and cut some of the smallest ones - cut them short and add a bit of baby's breath or something like that, whatever you have. Such a sweet little centerpiece on the table.
too cute!! he is growing up, isn't he? what a handsome fellow!
I would say that he is a 'cool guy' with those choices of food as well as the cool shades!!!
The zinnias are pretty neat, as well.
Yes! My daughter is five years old and she was trying to get me outside in 100+ weather last week. I thought I'd pass out, and she was just fine.
Lunch looks so good! I showed my daughter saying, "Look at those wonderful red fruits and veggies." All she repeated was "Brownie!". Sigh, she is a terrible eater. I did get her to try tuna last night and she ate it! I can't get her to eat veggies, but she'll eat frozen V-8 Splash(homemade juice pops).
Stay cool. Today is much better. I am going to try to get out for a nature walk after being inside most of last week. I need some sun and fresh air!
how can your grandson be so big already? He looks like a fun guy but I am almost sad that he has grown so fast, just like my grandbabies do.
your zinnias are great. Our zinnias are doing good too even with our drought.
