Well, not in my short experience. Part of the problem is that we are very dry here. I have been watering the wilted plants every day, but they just aren't looking all that healthy.
Tomorrow's forecast is for rain!! My hubby and I won't know how to act if we aren't spending all our after work time watering plants. Maybe if we start getting some regular rain the Morning Glories will take off!

I love morning glories and yours are beautiful! Hope the rain arrives on time and gives everything a good soaking!

We planted morning glories this year but I can't tell if they've come up or if it's just weeds I'm looking at. I'm horrible at flowers!
The morning glories are still pretty. I love the way the wind themselves around anything available and reach for the sky.
My morning glories didn't come up this year.
I remember morning glories always coming up where I didn't want them to come up! I bought a hanging basket years ago with morning glory inside... I loved the way it climbed up the hangers. I'm praying for rain, too!
I didn't think morning glories were hard to grow either. I hope you get rain!

yes, yes, on the rain... I gotta' go water my plants... Your morning glories are pretty..
Your Morning Glories look great compared to mine! :) I got the seed in the ground kind of late, so they're only 4-6 inches tall. But one set is starting to climb. Like you've done, I put a batch by each clothesline pole, with some stakes. I like the pink!
I had to smile when I saw these. I planted some on a utility pole once when and they grew up the pole and across the line. So if yours get to growing real good you may have a morning glory line instead of a clothes line. :) Smile
