Out My Kitchen Window in February...

These birds stopped along the way to find some juicy morsels in the field beside our house. Its probably a good thing they didn't realize there was a bird feeder with bird seeds in it right underneath the kitchen window. I have a feeling it would have been destroyed!

The shade garden is looking pretty desolate here....

But it will look like this again in no time!

It looks like Spring is just around the corner for you. I remember it wasn't so long ago when you had a "sea" of ice. Glad it's warming up. It is here as well :-)

Hi Debbie,
I am so ready for Spring too. It is a cold wet day here. I am cooking soup for lunch.
Love all the birds. Reminds me of that old movie.LOL
Hugs,

Wow! What a lot of birds. Looks like spring is ready to make an appearance in your corner of the world. Here in my corner we are still buried in snow. I love it though.

Were they starlings? They usually show up in big groups like that. At least it wasn't geese. I like geese, but they are messy.

I think the black birds visited me when they left you. When they left we saw sea gulls covering the same fields. We usually don't see the gulls until the farmers plow. All the snow and cold weather must have them confused?
