Handmade Christmas Gifts in 2011

AND..........

A GREAT JOINT VENTURE!

Every year I "plan" to sew some Christmas presents and every year I end up with ... not much done.

This year I'm hoping that I will be inspired by the Sewn With Grace Blog and the Handmade by Heidi Blog to make at least one gift each month all year.

The third Monday of each Month, Sewn with Grace will feature a different Christmas gift idea.

I think a great idea would be if I dedicated my "Friday Night Sew In" projects to Christmas, 2011!

This is just one more way to be consistent in 2011.

Love that idea. I'm going to try hard to participate.

I need to do a better job this year. I always, always make all the Christmas gifts for extended family and this year had not one thing done! Of course, adjusting to working full-time threw me for a loop. My goal is to work on some all year long.

I definitely have to bookmark these! It will really help alleviate that 'last minute rush.'
Thanks for taking the time from your holidays to visit me, and the nice comment on the vest. I appreciate that!
BTW, we got about 20 inches of snow here last Sunday!

That's a great idea! I'm considering joining the once a month Christmas challenge too. I'm still working on my word for 2011. Consistent is one I'm considering - but I have a whole list of others!

This is a great idea - but it's hard for me to think about Christmas when it's so far away now. I'd rather make something for myself, or making something for the etsy shop I'm thinking about opening.

I usually start with the Christmas stuff around September. I love spending Fall weekends puttering in my sewing room (or the kitchen).

Hi Debbie,
I too need to work on this in 2011. I felt rushed this year.
