A Little Bit of Home

I thought I'd join TABLETOP TUESDAY at A Stroll Through Life this week by showing one side of the farmhouse dining room. There's nothing too special here, but it feels like HOME to me.

Adding to the feeling of home is this candle sitting on a heart shaped braided trivet.

I basically ignored this Christmas Cactus all summer, moved it indoors before the first frost and look! I promise to give it more love this year.

Love it! It looks like you get some great light in that room. I need to set up a plant stand near a window. I think I can do it now that my daughter is older and not prone to messing with the plants.

My Christmas Cactus is not blooming yet. I read somewhere that leaving it out all summer and then bringing it in before the frost helps it to bloom...not sure why, but it worked last year. I've had mine inside too much this year. I love the red blooms! Mine are light pink.

Love the post, Debbie. Enjoyed yesterday's, as well. The teacup
feeders are great.

My cactus has not bloomed yet. I
had it out on the front porch all
summer. We will see how it does.
It actually came from TJ's mother.
I do want it to bloom.

Love you.
