God's Bounty in Mid-Autumn

I am wishing all of you a blessed Thanksgiving and hope you are enjoying the mid-Autumn, where ever you are. Its so hard to enjoy this time of year, if we are focused on Christmas already. So here are a few pictures from my yard this week, reflecting that its still Autumn.

very pretty; I noticed my son and DIL's pink geranium was still blooming beautifully on their front porch yesterday!

I am just a little jealous that you still have flowers blooming, LOL. You are so right about the how things are already all about Christmas shopping and hype, and we haven't even had Thanksgiving. I dread to think what it will be like on Friday, I am already tired of hearing Jingle Bells in commericals! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

My red geranium was still blooming yesterday but I'm afraid after today it will be gone. We're having freezing rain and vrey cold temps.

I hate it when the stores go from Halloween decorations right to Christmas. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Seasons are funny. They don't seem to stop and start when the sun wants them to, but by our own 'feelings.' I know it's another month until winter and I love fall, but I'm really starting to get into the Christmas spirit. Hmmm, if only there were Christmas lights that start off blinking orange and yellow and then magically change to red and green about a week before Christmas!
