Frugal Tip of the Week

This week's frugal tip is a quickie:

If you are traveling or just want to know where thrift stores are located in your area go to THE THRIFT SHOPPER.COM. Enter any city and state in the search box and you will be given a list of the thrift stores in that area, the address, phone number and a map with directions.

I have often been traveling through new areas and just wanted to do some thrift store shopping for the fun of it. But, I had no idea where they were located. So from now on I will check this site before going on the road.

Its also helpful to be able to find new thrift stores in the area you live.

Thanks for the link. I just entered my zip code and found several that I didn't know existed. I love finding the thrift stores that are run by nonprofit organizations.

We seem to have at least 7 or 8 charity(thrift) shops in most towns in the UK........a sign of the times I think, but great if you're a thrifty bargain hunter like me.

I will check this out. I know where too many are, I'm afraid. LOL My problem is that I buy stuff I don't need, just because I like it and it's "such a good buy!" I am trying to learn to leave goodies for the next person who comes along. :o)
