Yum! Coffee Sure is Good!

Its that time of year again for me to be running to this doctor and that doctor doing my annual check ups. You know... doctor's visit, lab work, Mammogram, and once you pass 50, there's more that we won't discuss here... :o)

Anyway, yesterday morning the labwork prevented me from having my coffee with hazelnut creamer. Boy, it sure is good this morning! Absence sure does make the heart grow fonder! I'm also happy to report that all the lab tests came back normal.

This coffee mug came from The Mast General Store in the mountain town of Valle Crucis, North Carolina. This is a very interesting place to visit. HERE is a link that tells the history. The one in Valle Crucis is the original store, but there are now several others scattered about the western part of the state.

Hope you are enjoying your coffee, or what ever your morning beverage of choice is, this morning.

I'm especially enjoying mine this morning because I took cough medicine last night and feel like a truck ran over me! I'm sitting here waiting for the caffeine to kick in. :-)

AMEN!! to the avalanche of tests - and to dealing with the lack of caffeine on those mornings. I, too, love my coffee, especially that firt cup my sweetheart brings to me in bed.

You know that I love your blog and you.

Oh, it's always coffee with half and half, although sometimes I will have an afternoon cup with a flavored creamer. I also like herbal tea with honey in the evenings to wind down the day. So glad all those tests came back normal. Have a great weekend.

I just went through lots of testing as well. It's good to know everything is in working order. ;)

Yum yum Coffee! I drink it all day long... half decaff... so I trick myself into thinking it's ok. I hope all your tests are okay... mine start up next month. Joy, joy!

Would you believe we have had a Mast General Store downtown in my city for a few years and I have yet to visit it? I just don't ever go downtown.
