One More Project

For more project ideas please go to "MY COUNTRY HOME" for Whatcha Working on Wednesday.

I made another bag loosely based on the pattern found HERE on the P.S. I Quilt Blog. I love these little bags and must admit the pattern is easier than my own tutorial.

I needed this bag to be a little larger, so I used more strips than the pattern called for which added to the size of the bag. I also increased the height of the bag. The original tutorial makes a bag 5 inches deep by 7 inches wide. This bag is 6 1/2 inches deep and 11 inches wide. The straps are a little longer too.

This one is already spoken for, but I intend to make myself one to use as a lunch bag.

I love the look of the bag. I want to pull all my fabric out one day and make a "true" scrap quilt. You know me... it may take years!

I love this little bag and have it bookmarked to make. It's nice to see another example of it and how you can make changes to make it your own!

Love it! I see people with quilted bags and I want one! The problem is figuring out the color scheme and pattern...hmmm...This one looks like a simple one.

No worries on linking to both! I'm not picky :)

The bag is so pretty, and you know I'm a fan of purple too.

I like the design of these new bags you have been doing. Although, everything you make is beautiful.

Great bag! I love it! I am envious of your quilting talents. I don't have a clue how to do this but would love to learn one day!
