Whatcha Working on Wednesday

This post is a part of the Whatcha Working on Wednesday series at Leslie's blog, My Country Home. You can see what lots of other ladies are working on in their lives there.

The heat of the summer is here in sunny North Carolina again so its time to retreat to my sewing machine again!

So, here's what I have been working on lately:

I made my first half apron from chocolate covered strawberries fabric. I was pleased with how it turned out and plan to make more. I have in mind ways to make different versions of this apron. I made my first bibbed apron last winter.

Here is the pattern I used: Half Apron Pattern I made the apron a little longer and the ties longer than the pattern, for a little more coverage on my size frame.

My thanks go to The Longest Year Blog!

More clothespin bags:

I'm still going to work on the hobo pocketbook pattern I showed you last week. I worked on it in my mind a hundred times, just got to make it a reality!

Very cheerful and pretty stuff! I was reminded of your clothespin bag tutorial the other day when I was hanging all of my loads of laundry on the line. I made a bag a few years ago, totally off the top of my head. It works but not oh that great. I need to make me a new one!

Have a great day!
