I've had a bad week!!!

On Tuesday the temperature here in North Carolina was 100 degrees, so I decided it was too hot to walk during lunch. I had just organized all my coupons and decided to go to the Food Lion to see if there were any deals I needed to take advantage of before the next week's sale started on Wednesday.

This is what happened!

And we just finished paying for it, new tires, a new battery and a new license plate the day before!

The other vehicle ran a stop sign at a very high rate of speed and there was nothing I could do to avoid it. I was very lucky and so glad no one was in the van with me! They would have most certainly been seriously injured. After many xrays and other tests, it was concluded that I had contusions to my feet and my sternum. Ouch! I love Percocet!

I hope to be back to blogging soon!

Oh Poor Debbie! I'm so glad you are okay! I see the airbags inside your van... do you remember it hitting you? As far as paying it off, etc.... I had the EXACT same thing happen once with a Ford Explorer. I loved that vehicle... got it paid for... totaled it two months later in the snow. I'm so sorry this has happened to you. Feel better soon!

Oh, my gosh, Debbie! I'm so sorry, but happy that you weren't more seriously injured. What is wrong with people? Why are they in such a hurry?
There's only one way to be in a hurry...hurry up and get better!

Bless your heart!!! I'm glad you're ok. I had e-mailed you privately with some questions about your Etsy shop, but please - don't even bother to answer them till you're all well and back up and going again.

Hope you are feeling better soon! Those aftershock pains following an accident are no fun.

Oh, Debbie, I am so sorry that your car got hit but am so glad that nothing serious happened to you. I hope that your car can be fixed or that you can get an insurance check real soon so you can get another vehicle. I hope all goes well with you.

I will pray that things move quickly.

Blessings,
Dianne

Debbie, I just saw this post about your car accident (I've been out of town)! So sorry this happened to you -- a very similar thing happened to me earlier this summer, though my car was able to be repaired. I hope your injuries are feeling better -- blessings! Ruth
