Weekend Update

I hope your weekend was good. Ours was as busy as could be. My daughter and grandbaby came while her husband was out of town. Little "D" is walking!!! My camera is coming and going, but I was able to get a few pictures before it went again!! AAAARRRRGGGGHH!!!

Fast with a baby "walker":

What do you mean I can't open that cabinet door??!!!

This is the current view out my front door. If you've been reading my blog, you'll recognize the mailbox.

My mother is doing a little better. She is walking with our assistance and a walker, but cannot get up and walk by herself. My brothers took her out to eat at her favorite buffet restaurant Friday night. She is sad because of all the changes in her life, but some days I see the old "Mama" coming out. Our prayer and hope is that she'll ever so steadily return to her old self both physically and mentally. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Hi Debbie,
I cannot believe your little grandson is walking! That must make you smile amidst the challenges right now.

My continued thoughts and prayers for your mom.

I can't believe how much he has grown - so cute. Seems like you posted baby pictures of him just yesterday.

I'm glad your momma is at least able to get out. What a blessing! And what a blessing to have family near to help her. I think emotional support is the best predictor of how well people do after a stroke, baring the physical aspect.

The baby is walking??? Oh my! Time for another one... hee hee. I'm glad your mom is doing better. I'm sure it must be frustrating and sad for her not to be able to do the things she used to independently do. I hope she continues to improve. I love the hay bales picture. I took several of hay bales this weekend that I plan to blog later tonight!

How can he already be walking? He sure is a sweetie!

Our daughter spent part of the weekend with us while her husband was away, too.

Daughers are pretty great.

Debbie, your hay bales are the kind my husband is looking.. he doesn't like the round kind for goats. He thinks he knows where he will be able to get some hay.

I was surprised to see your baby walking. Time flies...

I hope your mom continues to improve.
