Signs of the Season

Honey Bees frantically working the Quince Bush.

The farmers sprayed something on the lovely green grass behind our house to kill it.  At the time of the taking of these pictures it has turned yellow, but now is completely brown.  They'll soon be discing the land and planting something.  Hoping for cotton or sweet potatoes.

Pollen.  Its been very bad this year.  I park under a tree at work and when the leaves started budding out, it dropped a sticky substance all over my car.  Then the pollen fell on that sticky stuff and my car was a mess!  Hubby has since washed all of it off.

The flowering almond bush.

Have a great Thursday!

I'm longing for all those buds and green here but we have a way to go yet. Love the pictures, Debbie!

Pollen = ah choo! Every time I clean our back porch, I sneeze and have a raw throat for a day or two! I love the picture of the flowering almond with the quilt block barn in the back ground!

I know about pollen...my allergies have been terrible this year. I have yellow pollen dust all over my car. The almond bush flowers are beautiful. They remind me of a powder puff.

I love all the beauty of Spring but am not too fond of the pollen.

You take such gorgeous photos...

Look at that pollen! I've never seen anything like that. We're still getting occasional snow storms...I would love to see more gorgeous blooms...minus the pollen.
