Still eating chili...

We don't typically eat things like chili and soups on a regular basis after the weather warms up, which normally happens in April or May.  The exception would be homemade vegetable soup using home grown tomatoes and vegetables.  But, the weather has certainly been conducive to eating these things, even though the calendar says its May!

This delicious chili and toasted homemade bread were our lunch on Saturday.  It was soooo good.

CHILI AND HOMEMADE TOASTED BREAD

My hubby and I were listening to the radio on the way home from church and the grocery store on Sunday, when the song "My Girl" came on.  Remember the line in there that says "When its cold outside, I've got the month of May"?  I wondered if maybe the song should have said June, July or August...

This is the day the Lord has made.  We will be glad and rejoice in it!

Looks delicious! My mother lives in North Carolina and has been complaining at how cold and windy it's been lately. Stay warm! Of course, in July you'll be wishing for winter. lol

By the way, thank you so much for the very sweet review on Amazon. That was so encouraging to me! I didn't realize it was you at first but finally figured it out!
