My Mother's Room
Its been almost 3 months since my mother has been back to her home. Her room in the nursing home has become her home away from home. She even says she is going home when she is returning to the nursing home from dialysis or the hospital.
She still wants to go back to her real home though. Its not impossible that she will be able to go home, but its not happening too fast.
This week she spent one night and two days in the hospital to have the fistula put in her arm, which is the permanent access to be used for dialysis. She got along well with this, except for the expected soreness in her arm. She won't be able to do as much for a few days while the surgery heals.
Here are a few bright spots in her room.

I must say that you and the rest of the family have made her room look cheerful. We are glad that the procedure went well.
You are a blessing to her and to the rest of your family.
The rose bush is sure to cheer her up. Living plants seem to always help cheer up a room. I'm glad the procedure went well. You're all still in my prayers.

Mama's room looks cheery and that is very important!! I'm happy that she can call the nursing home 'home' for now. I hope they are being good to her!!! ;-)

What a sunny and cheery-looking room. I am glad that your mama feels at home while she is still there. Glad that everything went well this past week.

You all have made her a cheery place to be! It's good that she feels so at home there. My MIL also had dialysis so I know a bit about the process.
