Sometimes you have to use your imagination to come up with some food storage ideas. Most any nook or cranny of your home can serve this purpose, if you just look around.
Not all of them have to be utilitarian either. Some can even add to the charm of your home.
Here are a few areas that make up my pantry!
Just be sure to tell family members where everything is, so no one panics when they need a certain food item.

Wow... great storage ideas... love all the baskets! You should be featured in a magazine...
I tried to send a comment earlier but not sure if you got it or not. So I was saying how prepared you are and how envious I am... and how you are already prepared for the hurricane that is predicted for this weekend! Also, I have a lazy susan cabinet like yours, which has recently become Avery's favorite place to play. I keep my cereal, extra coffee, brown sugar, rice, etc. down there. I've always wondered what other people use theirs for. :o)
Thank you for sharing your ideas, especially the baskets. Kathi
You are always so very well organized! You have proven that "pantry" incorporates a lot of different spaces and ideas. Will you come organize me?
Hi Debbie,
What great ideals. I finally finished my pantry today.
Have a wonderful day.

I had an aunt that used to store her extra canned foods underneath her bed. She kept them in boxes that just slipped up under there. I have a lot of stuff under my beds, but no food. I have a very large closet in my kitchen with deep shelves that holds everything that doesn't go in the freezer. It is good to be prepared.
