Blooming Tuesday, Early June, 2011

Its Blooming Tuesday at Mrs. Green Thumb Jean's Blog.

The Zinnia garden is coming along well. We are in a very dry spell right now, so we have been running the sprinkler on several areas of the yard. Otherwise, they wouldn't be nearly this big. Just a few more days and there will be a riot of blooms here.

One of the Daisies I bought on the clearance rack. Poor thing, its kind of weird, don't you think? :o)

My sister gave me what was a tiny Butterfly Bush that she ordered from Home Shopping Network. I planted some Petunias around it in this pot and all of the plants took off and are huge! And the red, white and purple clash quite a bit. Oh well, the butterflies don't care!

Here are some more blooms from around the yard.

Happy Blooming Tuesday!

Oh...I love zinnia's to cut and bring in. What a beautiful display of them you have. And the pink impatience are beautiful! Our growing season is a month to six weeks behind yours so I'm watching and waiting for my flowers to grow fuller. Have a great day!

Everything is soooo pretty. Such pretty colors everywhere! I like the red and purple together (reminds me of the red hat society). Your little clearance daisy is pretty strange, but very unique. I like its color! I planted zinnias again this year, too. Can't wait to see them bloom!

The impatiens get my vote.. I do love them.. I love zinnias too, but haven't planted any in years. So nice seeing everything in your gardens today. That little guy in so many of your shots is really growing !!!

Great pictures! Your place is looking so very nice. I like to pick zinnias to make lovely bouquets. I especially love the picture with the angel in the ferns.

You have been working hard, Debbie..but I can tell that you love it. It shows.

There nothing like a garden of zinnias to bring a smile to one's face. It looks like yours will be beautiful.

I love red and purple together so I think those red/white petuias look great with the butterfly bush.

I can't wait to see all those zinnias bloomin'! Cute birdhouses. All colors go together in nature, nothing clashes! LOL! Jean

Ancient One (my mom) posted that she hasn't planted zinnias in years. One of my fondest memories is when she planted them at the end of the house by the garage, and that summer she let me pick flowers anytime I wanted, to bring inside and arrange. I've loved zinnias ever since. (she prob. doesn't even remember this) :o)
