Blooming Tuesday

On the side yard, underneath the Crepe Myrtles, there are Chives and Rose Campions. The chives have about finished blooming and now the Rose Campions are in full bloom.

Some brightly colored Coleus, a pot of begonias and a fake sunflower.

The Clothesline Morning Glories are making progress toward their destination.

This post is linked to Mrs. Green Thumb Jean's blog for BLOOMING TUESDAY.

Your flowers are doing great. I've never heard of Rose Campions. Wonder if they would do well in this climate.

I planted morning glory seeds but they neved came up. Either the seeds rotted in our wet ground or the birds ate them. :(

Love the idea of the morning glories growing up the side of the clothesline! That will be such a cheerful sight while hanging laundry:@)

Your garden looks great. I love begonias but mine are fading away.

Debbie, Rose campions are some of my favorites. The coleus will look wonderful when they grow together. Love the different colors. Happy Bloomin' Tuesday! Jean

Hi Debbie ~ this is my first time to your blog; I popped over from Jean's place. I LOVE rose campions....I actually dug one up at my sister-in-law's house in Conn. one summer, came home and planted it (here in VA), but it didn't make it. Then last summer I was visiting my sister in SC..she took me to a little town in NC, and we went to a unique little florist gift shop. There was one lone rose campion growing out of a crack in the sidewalk! I would love to find seeds to plant some. Your row of them is wonderful!

Also all your quilting links on your sidebar are familiar to me... I visit most all of them...too often!

Thanks for your post.

One year I had Rose campions but didn't know their names. I got some from my MIL. She always had some growing in a bed at her house. They look great growing beside your crepe myrtles. Love looking at your gardens...
