The Strawberry Begonias have started returning:
A new clothesline trellis waiting to be planted with Morning Glories, a Clematis or other vine:
I can imagine hanging clothes this summer with lots of blooms running all over the trellis.

Oooooh, I love it! The spring flag is very cute. I've just changed mine for the season as well (but mine is just a sunflower, not nearly as cute as yours). I have some lettuce planted as well, but I started it from seed, so it's not nearly as far along. I LOVE the idea of a clothesline trellis. I'm trying desperately to come up with an idea or location for a clothesline in my back yard that would be HOA approved. I love hanging clothes out to dry (although I hated it every year of my childhood). My mom laughs now that I'm wishing for a clothesline. I can't wait to see your flowers in bloom! Seeing your spring is really getting me excited for spring here, we are starting to get much warmer temperatures (consistent high 30s mid 40s) and the nights are not so cold! I can also see ground appearing from under the snow. I have a clothes line off the back deck which is second story, so on days that are in the 40s I can hang clothes!!

I am so ready for spring too! I want to work in the front yard on Saturday and get my entry way all prettied up. (new flag, new mulch, pull weeds, etc) I love your trellis by the clothesline.. how country and cute. I am going to have to use my clothes line for a few days... My dryer broke yesterday and hubby wont' be home till Sat. I'm actually (sort of ) enjoying finding places to hang my laundry inside. :o)
