A Soft and Cozy Place to Land

This is the soft and cozy spot I land on before and after work. On these cold winter mornings you can find me in my Snuggie enjoying a warm cup of coffee flavored with fat free hazelnut creamer brought to me by my hubby.

Most mornings I read, watch the news and if time allows write a blog post. Recently I have been reading the Women of Faith Study Bible and Daily Advent Devotions. Books from the library include an updated version of "Miserly Moms", a short novel called "An Amish Christmas", and some various decorating books.

Also on the book pile are a couple of old gardening books good for dreaming about next Spring's yard and garden. Seed catalogs should be coming soon. All those 90 plus degree days from the Summer of 2010 are a distant memory now and its time to enjoy days of cocooning inside on cold days.

This lamp with its toile lamp shade and the chicken at the base sits on the table to the right of "my spot". During this season there are 2 Christmas coasters to sit my coffee or Diet Coke on.

Do you have a soft place to land? I'd love to hear about your "spot".

Your spot to land looks wonderful! So cozy! I love getting glimpses into your new home. My favorite spot is the couch, with a blanket, with an extra pillow from the bed, putting the phone and remote right beside me so I don't have to get up! :o)

Love how comfy your spot looks, especially the ottoman that you can put books and your feet up on, nice to have everything right where you can reach it. My favorite spot is in my chair where I have my stitchery ready to grab when and I also have a place to set my coffee or whatever I'm sipping, still not as cozy as your spot.

Your cozy spot look so warm and inviting. My favorite spot is in my recliner. I have my crocheting basket right next to it and a fleece throw available if my legs get cold. It doesn't compare to your cozy spot though. Your home is beautiful.

Debbie,

It is just as cozy and lovely as I remember. The christmas touches only add to an already wonderful room. I just love your house - and the home you and hubby have and are still building there.

Your cozy spot looks so nice and cheerful! In our new home, I'm just beginning to carve out my cozy spot, a place in our den with my big chair and ottoman, with a TV tray for a table beside it right now. I'm beginning to collect my books there, and there's a cup of coffee brewing right now for me to drink as I make my morning round of the blogs! ;)

In the evening my spot is my bed. Nice and comfy and I got a Women of Faith study bible for my birthday last summer.
During the day my spot is the recliner in the living room. My crochet and embroidery projects are kept right next to the chair and there is a table for a cup of coffee. I get my projects done by sitting for a few minutes here and there during the day. Our home is small, but we love it.
