Moving Right Along

The Big Sister's quilted tote bag in progress:

"Little Miss Lily Marie", pin basted and ready to quilt. I have set up my workstation for machine quilting, which means positioning the sewing machine so that the cutting table is behind it and a card table is to the left. I plan to quilt this crib size quilt and "Little Boy Blue Two" before I move the sewing machine back to its normal position.

Have a great Tuesday!

Princess Ella is going to be thrilled with that tote bag. It's precious. I love the design of the baby quilt with all the soft colors. That's a great idea to set up the machine that way.

The quilt is so pretty... perfect for a sweet little girl to snuggle beneath! Princess Ella will be a happy little girl, too... so sweet for you to remember her too.

It all looks so exciting, laid out with all the pins in, but also a little scary, this quilting bit is the part that gives me butterflies in the stomach...........you do make it look so easy.......beautiful fabrics.

IT IS ALL INTRIGUING!

I just realized that you use safety pins instead of long straight pins - you know, the ones with yellow nubs on the end!! Do you find that they slip out too easily?

Both the quilt and tote bag are lovely - and so feminine. They will each be loved, I am sure.

Wow, these are beautifully made gifts! I can't wait to see the quilt completed. You just couldn't buy anything at a store as special as this. Homemade is the best.
