Proverbs 30:25 Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer.
Late summer has arrived! Here are just a few pictures.
Soy Bean Fields:
Scuppernong Grapes almost ready to pick.
Corn fields recently harvested:
Tobacco Leaves hanging down. Their days are numbered! Before long there will only be the green stalks left.

Thank you for sharing a picture of this southern summer with us. Indiana is pretty much the same except no tobacco here. My son is on Nicorette and I am so proud of him. He's been on it for 4 years I imagine. I'm thankful for that. Have a good day! We are still having hot hot days here and I'm looking forward to fall.
I love the pictures. My grandparents on both sides raised tobacco in North Carolina. I still remember the tobacco barns.
We're still getting into the 90s here. I'm hoping for cool weather that sticks around for a while.
do you have scuppernong grapes at your house? They are absolutely the best! Your pic's are great... love those late summer's in the south. (I can feel fall in the air, can't you?)

Never heard of that kind of grape, I will have to ask my nephew when he comes in Oct. What do they taste like? Love the photos of late summer.
Hi Debbie,
It is still middle of summer for us. We don't get fall till about Nov. I have been thinking about you with Earl out there. Stay dry and safe.
Hugs,
Elizabeth
Wonderful pictures, Debbie. Oh, the memories!
And, oh, how I would love some scuppernongs. We had a huge vine of those out back of the homeplace farmhouse.
Take care.
Marjorie
