Such beaautiful pictures! I love the saying above your fireplace.
My mom always had african violets blooming in her kitchen window. She would take a leaf, stick it through a piece of aluminum foil and into a glass of water. It would take root and she'd have a new plant to share with friends or family. I'd do the same with a leaf and it would rot.
