Scenes from the Sewing Room

Lovely sewing and reading gifts in the mail. (Thanks E!)

On my sewing table this morning are three grocery bags in progress:

My neatly stacked fabric......is NO LONGER NEAT! This is what happens when I am doing a lot of sewing. One of my projects for the weekend is to organize my fabric into plastic totes by color and size.

Finished bags hanging on the wall:

The sun was shining in the window in this one:

Have a great weekend and if you are so inclined..... HAPPY SEWING, COOKING AND CLEANING!

You've sure been busy. You have quite a stash of fabric... I'm a little "green" with envy.

I love that picture with the sun shining through the window!
Your fabric is folded so neatly. You could get some baskets, or cover shoeboxes and sort the folded pieces by color or print. Then you could just grab a box and not knock over all your beautiful, neat piles!
My sewing projects today involve two aprons, one for St. Patrick's Day. We've got 10 inches plus of snow on the ground, so it's a good day to cook, sew and blog-hop!

Still pretty neat!! But, you will have a good time re-organizing them.

And, what good practice for moving!
You will have everything in order. Am a little envious of your attention to detail. You move with such purpose.

Love you, mjw
