My recent birthday gift from my hubby was a country bench, just like I had been wanting for a long time. He ran across it at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago and had the seller hold it for him.
This is the bench with random items on it, just so you could get an idea of how I plan to use it.

How nice of your husband to find that at a yard sale for you. Mine would not even think of stopping at one. I like those benches, too. I was wanting one in my sun room until my sister gave me the most perfect shabby coffee table.
I have three benches that I use as 'coffee tables' in both my home and our Rivah house...I love them and one of mine is red as it looks like the one your husband got you...I LOVE your quilts ..I'll be back to catch up on what you are up to!!
