Thrift Store Finds

Today is Second Time Around Tuesday at "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words", where bloggers can show off their items found at thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, and junk stores.

I am really happy with these items I found at thrift stores this week.

The Tar Heels may have won the National Championship, but I have a vintage Fred Flintstone N. C. State Wolfpack Sweatshirt! So there!

This is one of two vintage Fire King Anchor Hocking milk glass bowls in the swirl pattern.

A vintage Pyrex "Forest Fantasy" bowl. I love the mushrooms on there. Definitely from the 70s!

Small samples of Waverly fabric and Toile scraps. Tomorrow I will show you what I made from these small pieces of fabric.

Six pairs of shorts for my grandson in perfect condition.

Have you found any great buys at a thrift store, yard sale or junk store lately?

I have found some great things, we went to 2 rummage sales and a neighborhood sale over the weekend.

Love the mushroom design on the pyrex, I've never seen that one, but it is for sure from the 70's.

cute finds! love the mushroom bowl, lol! our latest greatest thrift store find was a fire truck that ella picked out. it sounded broken but she didn't care, she liked that the ladder moved and she could push it around. when we got home nathan cleaned it up and changed the batteries and it sounds brand new! it's her favorite thing right now!

I tried to comment a few hours ago and apparently it didn't go through. Here goes again... I love your finds, especially the fabric. Can't wait to see what you did with it. I am finding myself in thrift stores too often these days. I have an addiction, I think. Recently, I purchased two chairs (small chairs for desk and sewing)....about 10 Southern Lady magazines that I thoroughly enjoyed.... three summer skirts for myself.... a ceramic planter... teacups.... picture frames... a weird stepping stone for my flower bed... cute dressy sandals... more things, I'm sure... my mind has drawn a blank. I'm off to "town" now... will probably stop by my favorite thrift while I'm there. :o)
