These are a few more finishing touches I've added to my sewing room.
This bobbin holder makes my life so much easier when sewing. Before I was putting the bobbins in a little basket where they got all tangled up and the thread was always rolling off them. Now they are nice and neat and it is easy to see which colors I already have on a bobbin. This little organizer was very inexpensive and such a simple, useful idea.
This basket was also inexpensive and makes storage of a project look nice. That's my "Cozy Cabins Quilt in progress" stored in there.
This little wall hanging was a Christmas gift. It reminds me to save some time for one of my other hobbies, gardening. If you look really close you will see that the flowers are made from YoYos, which are also used in a form of quilting. So it goes perfectly in the sewing room!
If you want to see an example of YoYos in a quilt, visit Little PenPen's blog HERE. She has a beautiful picture of them on the top of her blog.

i love your hanging! very cute.
No, no, no....I have a million projects going right now, do not show me yo-yo's or I'll have them out and be working on that again! LOL I have a few little runners around here but I also have a quilt made of 1000 yo-yo's all made by me in a red, white and blue theme that hangs in my bedroom. It took a lot of work but I'm really proud of it. It's really not done. Someday I want it to be big enough to use as a coverlet on my bed but for now, it hangs on my closet door looking pretty :)
Have a great day!

I love yo yo's! I may have to copy your design from the Green Thumb hanging. Love it! Your bobbins are so neat. I don't even have enough bobbins to worry about organizing. (need to put those on my shopping list) Your story about the dog eating Bengay was hilarious... I'm sure our dachshunds would do the same if given the chance.
Debbie~ Oh, I just love sewing room goodies. Great idea for having the bobbins ready to go. I love your sign very cute. I have never made a yo-yo and right now am having techincal difficulties(problems with my brain understanding instructions) with my sewing so don't even want to know how to make them(haha)...
Blessings,Joann
