Organizing Plans For This Week

OK! I'm almost finished organizing my fabric and sewing room, so on to the next item!

These are before pictures of the storage space located underneath the stairs, behind the living room closet:

Its not as bad as it looks, because I just need to take everything out and put back the things that need to be stored there. I plan to re-think this storage space. I do want to keep the photo albums in there, but I am seriously thinking about storing all my Christmas things in there, as well. Currently our Christmas things are stored in three different places. I want to get rid of the things we don't use any more. I plan to eliminate and concentrate! Only those things we use and love will be kept and then they will be stored here. I would be able to get to them so much easier and therefore enjoy Christmas more.

I'll be brainstorming to come up with storage solutions this week and hope to work on this over the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, our temps are forecast to reach 70and it will be sunny both Saturday and Sunday! This may tempt me to the outdoors, because I really need to do some work out there too.

I hope to post "AFTER" pictures by the end of the weekend.

You are making real progress! i bought a pack of 10 storage boxes in Staples sale 2 weeks ago - but that is as far as I have got. our post has encouraged me - when my man goes out tonight, I shall tackle the Great Fabric Stash!!

70 degrees...can I have some of that? It's pouring snow here today. On the other hand, we're supposed to hit 50 by Sunday!
You sure are doing great with your organizing. I've done a little, just when I can get up in the attic. (Like yesterday, when it was in the 40s. The weather here is nuts.)
I used some of my Joanne's gift card to buy myself a rack for all my thread, and it came today, so I guess that will be my organizing project this afternoon, LOL!

Wow, send some of your energy my way! :)

I also want to get outside to do some yard work. With all the ice and high winds I have got lots of limbs in my yard! Its still so cold here, I can't stand to be out in it very long.

Can't wait to see what you've done next!

Debbie~ Thank you so much for your nice comments on my blog. I know you mentioned something about an award but honestly right now it's all I can do to type up a few comments. I am feeling a little better but not great yet. I have visited a couple of blogs of people who left comments on my blog and yours is the last for today. I just can't seem to concentrate for too long, sorry..I will be back to read all your posts when I am feeling better.
Blessings,Joann

So I guess you're not in the snow zone tonight. They are saying north of 264 will get a dusting, so I guess we're too far south also. And they can have it... ha ha.. I'm looking forward to SPRING!!

You are really getting a lot done and everything looks so good.
