I actually got started on a new quilt!
These are three blocks I have made so far.
What do you think? How do you think they compare to the ones in the magazine?
The blocks are smaller than I realized. Each one is only 8 inches square. A twin size quilt will need 56 blocks. I want the quilt to be at least full size and preferably queen size, so I have quite a few blocks left to make!

Those blocks look real nice, you are very talented. I hope to someday learn to quilt. Good luck with all the rest you need to do..

Ohhh I like them! I think they are even prettier than the ones in the picture. Keep going you have a great start.
I like it! Great job! I always enjoy reading about your sewing projects; you inspire me to do more!
I love them! They remind me of the table runners I make so I actually think I could handle a quilt like this.
You do such gorgeous work, Debbie!
Nice start on your quilt... it will be beautiful..

I think they look great!
looks wonderful!
have fun sewing that cozy looking quilt
I think I like yours better than the ones in the magazine - I like the colors better. It will take a long time, but think how accomplished you'll feel when it's done!
That's going to make a great quilt! It's always a fantastic feeling to see something you like and duplicate it. I love all the fun that goes into figuring out a pattern and the added benefit of making it in the colors I like.
I can't wait to see your finished quilt.
A great start! Your blocks look so good. And, let's see, a queen will take about 112 blocks, so at 3a day, that will be - - - -! But, you will do more than 3 a day. Good luck!

They will make a beautiful quilt, Debbie! :)
That quilt looks awesome! I was snuggling up with my ocean quilt you made me yesterday. It is so soft and cozy. Love you Mama!
Better than the picture! And I'm not just saying this. I love it! The colors are so nice.
