One week later

We will be picking a few squash today. I may make a squash casserole for lunch tomorrow.

Cucumbers don't grow as fast as squash, but almost!

I need to dig out Mama's pickle recipe and purchase the ingredients. It won't be long until we can make them

My your growing season is a lot farther ahead than ours. In Indiana we don't even have the yellow squash flower yet. Your squash look so good. I wish I lived close enough to share your casserole with you. :)lol

My mom used to make squash pickles but I have no idea what the recipe was. I think it was the same recipe as using cucumbers. As Rita said, it's way too early for squash or cucumbers on the vine here in Indiana.

In Maine we haven't even planted our squash, LOL, so do enjoy and share photos so I can drool over your lovely produce!

Have a great Sunday.

I love my squash fried with onions and the cucumbers in vinegar. Think I'll go see if I can see a cuke or squash out in our little garden.

Yeah! The guy at the farmer's market said he'd have yellow squash and zucchini ready next week and tomatoes by the end of the month. Can't wait!
